(1) When rough files are used, the strength should not be too large. It is easy to gnaw the processing surface, causing deep processing marks and not easy to remove the knife marks.
(2) Too much force can easily make it wear and blunt quickly, which will make the chips too large to be stored in the edge of the file, which will affect the efficiency of the file and greatly reduce the life of the file.
(3) In semi-finishing, chalk gray is applied on the fine file to reduce the chip space, which can keep the file sharp and avoid scratching the surface of the workpiece due to excessive chip accumulation in the chip groove.
